The artist JHWinter painted it to accompany five others in a body of work which was hosted in Rozelle House in a small gallery of local artists artworks. They were on show to the public, therefore framed under glass which can be removed.
Loch Lomand is seen by the many travellers on their way to the highlands. It is also a destination mecca for people living in Glasgow, many of whom have a pleasure boat!
The painting in oil, shows in the turbulent sky, the drama depicted in very specific Scottish colours, which favour the heathers in the hills. The rolling Scottish hills form part of the Trossachs National Park.
