The Eye: What's the story behind it?

A customer purchased two of our print on demand items, a Long Seeve Shirt and a Dad Hat. Then asked me about the story of The Eye!

I REPLIED:

It is a metafor.

You don't really know who people are even when you look them in the eye!

Some people feel trapped. 😕

I imagined empowering people, such as people in the Pride Community, to be more outgoing.

The iris has my version of Pride colours.

We should all be able to be proud of who we are.

At its core, 'The Eye' is flirtatious.

At it's heart it is encouraging us all to have inner pride.

The Eye was one of the visions that came to artist JHWinter in the early hours of the morning.

She spent the next two hours sketching until the ideas were out...

Over the next few weeks each idea was brough to life as a painting to accompany 'Pride Identity' JHWINTER's travelling art exhibition.

'The Eye', was popular with attendees. It is one of the first designs to be chosen to use with Print on Demand products fulfilled by our print partners.
