Did you see artists JHWinter at Runswick Bay?

After a brilliant painting session at Port Mulgrave Julie H Winter moved on to Runswick Bay. She had been there a few years ago and had started an underpainting. While adding further paint to the canvas two people within five minutes of each other were interested in buying the painting. It wasn't finished!

However, luckily this artist had a further full day to paint. The wind was against her, but she battled on. One very kind local person brought her a wind break! Unfortunately she couldn't see the view over the wind break.

Above you can see that she won the battle of the beach and came home with some stunning paintings to add to her North Yorkshire Coastline, which will be a solo exhibition of her these beautiful treasures.
