Would you support your fellow human's in such a way. Of course you would. It is the fear of being shunned that leaves many people hiding away in plain sight. JHWinter has heard many stories of sons being afraid of a seemingly homophobic males in their family, only to be embraced and supported by that very same person when they have the courage to come out in the open about who they love.

The Pride Family is a painting celebrating the arrival of a time when the newness of the changed concept of life together is a celebration of all supporting each other. A woman viewing Artist JHWinter's paintings, in her first solo show with the Pride Identity Collection, said softly, 'We are all butterflies'. This made an impact on the artist. The caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly additions made the art complete.
